A universe to reshape

The design combines an explorable overworld with shoot ’em up encounters. Players guide Salve Regina through a universe of gravity wells, converting matter and folding smaller masses into larger celestial structures.

Each encounter feeds into a larger goal: assembling enough mass to create a star-powered weapon.

The planned gameplay loop

  1. 01 / Explore

    Choose your next target

Survey the overworld and select masses to pursue. The larger map provides the setting for the encounters ahead.

  2. 02 / Convert

    Gather matter through encounters

Shoot ’em up runs turn selected masses into material that can feed the next stage of construction.

  3. 03 / Fold

    Build toward a star

Fold and merge converted masses into larger structures, working toward the mass needed for a star-powered weapon.

Event Horizon is approaching

Construction has a purpose beyond getting bigger. Event Horizon is the approaching force that gives the cycle its urgency: gather, convert, and build enough to buy more time.

Still taking shape

Salve Regina is in development. The screenshots show the current open-world and combat prototypes. The gameplay direction is taking shape, while polished graphics are still to come.
